Softball Practice

I love softball with a passion.    I played for years when I was younger and more athletic.   Softball is hands down my favorite sport.   The only thing better than playing softball is watching Cristin play and enjoy the game.

This evening was her first softball practice for the upcoming season.   I don’t know how she feels about the new season, but I’m pumped.

She is trying out for the pitcher position this year.   Pitching has finally “clicked” for her.   She has learned how to put all the components of a good pitch together for a good result.

She still has much to learn and a lot of practice to do, but she is getting there.

This short simple post is meant to be an outlet for my softball tension/excitement.   Smile

Here are a couple pictures from practice this evening and a video I shot of her warm up.   The first pitch was a bit wild, but she got control.

I purchased a small pocket sized camcorder a couple weeks ago.    Having that camcorder in my purse makes shooting video much more convenient.   That’s why I’ve been posting lots of video.   I like videos!  Smile

You will get a front row seat to Cristin’s softball season.

Ok I have to admit this: The speed of Cristin’s pitch bought flash backs from my childhood of playing softball and being scared witless of being hit by the ball. Such a whoos. ;) She looks VERY good at her game.
